THE EXPERIENCE

Your Wedding Day

You clutch your flowing bouquet and stand, patiently awaiting your cue. Your arm rested on the person you have chosen to escort you down the aisle. Maybe it’s your father who tells you to “just breathe,” when you realize, maybe he needs that reminder more than you. He might be nervous to send you off, but you are not nervous. You are confident that the person meeting you at the end of that aisle is your best friend, the person you want to see every day and share in all of life’s wonders.

Your bridesmaids and groomsmen welcome your guests as they one by one promenade down. Suddenly, the tempo changes. It’s your turn. You take a breath and are overwhelmed to see all of the most important people of your life beaming with joy at the beautiful venue you so carefully selected.

Then, as if there is no one else there, your eyes meet. His eyes begin to fill with tears as he watches you gracefully make your way to him.

These are the moments I look for when I’m photographing your wedding day.

UNIQUE ADD-ONS

Post-Wedding Shoot

You've heard of pre-wedding shoots, otherwise known as engagement portraits, but have you heard of a post-wedding shoot? This usually occurs a day or two after your wedding. This is an opportunity to get dressed up in your wedding attire again, but we get to take portraits in private. If your wedding venue allows, it's possible to even go back to your venue to take early morning shots. This way you can be alone in post-wedding bliss and be focused solely on these couple portraits.

FAQ

How does wedding pricing work?

I price my wedding packages based on many factors including if extra coverage is needed, travel, and the length of the event. You also have the option to hire me to take your engagement photos or cover other wedding events like bridal showers and rehearsal dinners. These can all be worked into the final cost of your wedding photography or paid separately.

I am unsure about the specifics of my wedding. Is this a problem?

To get the most accurate wedding photography quote, it is best to have a general wedding schedule. If you only have your date so far, that is just fine! I can work with you in your planning to make sure that you are getting the services that best fit your needs. Your package can be finalized when you get more of your details in order.

Do you recommend I get pre-wedding photos?

I highly recommend that you do engagement photos with me, even if you are unsure about whether or not you want to hire me for your wedding photos. This is a great opportunity for us to get comfortable with each other. You can get an idea of how I work and edit photos. It’s also lovely to have consistent style photos for printed images in your home, photo albums, or things like save-the-dates.

How do we have a wedding photography consultation?

Just send me a message and we can schedule a phone call or video chat. We can start your wedding photography consultation any way you’d like. It simply depends on your preference. Some people like to do a video chat, phone call, or all communication through email. Whatever works for you, works for me!

What is your wedding photography style?

I shoot weddings similar to a photo-journalist. My goal is to be as discreet as possible while getting those special moments. In our consultation, we can discuss whether you are interested in detail shots, getting ready photos, first look, and formal family portraits. As portraits are my specialty, I always like to take the bride and groom away for a bit for intimate wedding portraits
