After the initial email contact, I will send you a wedding questionnaire to learn more about you and to get a better idea of what is most important to you and your partner. I encourage my couples to connect with me by grabbing coffee or having a video chat to go over their wedding questionnaire. It’s important to me that we become comfortable with each other as I will be with you during one of your most important life moments. Just like how meticulous you are with your guest list, your vendor list should be the same. If your wedding venue is in or near the Portland area, I will also request that we do a walk-through of your venue to plan out where we should take photos. This will help your wedding photos, especially formal photos, to be most efficient.

Yes! I always recommend that we add an engagement photo session. This is a great opportunity for us to get acquainted and I can get a feel for how you are in front of the camera.

Yes, I typically include a second shooter because there is so much happening during weddings that it is challenging to get all of the angles by myself. There is flexibility with second shooters though. For example, if you are eloping, a second shooter may not be necessary. There are also certain times of the wedding when we may not need extra support. For example, if coverage of the reception is not the most important thing to you, we can excuse the second shooter.

I require a non-refundable deposit of 20% to hold your date. This means that I will not book any other events on this date. You may also enter into a payment plan to pay the remainder or you can pay the full amount by your wedding date. I will not deliver any photos until payment is complete.

Wedding packages are merely a tool to give couples an idea of how much they might spend. Depending on your wedding coverage needs, most included package items can be modified to fit your needs.

I primarily shoot digital, but I will also take some film photographs throughout your wedding day. I typically use about one roll of film per every 2 hours. My goal is make your album cohesive, so I edit by using film-emulation to get your photos to match as best as possible.
