What does it mean to add 35mm film photography to you wedding coverage?


Hybrid Wedding Photography


Film photography is a beautiful addition to your digital coverage. When you include film, I shoot rolls of classic 35mm throughout the day alongside my digital camera.


Film captures light, color, and texture in a way that digital simply can’t replicate. It has a timeless, organic quality—soft grain, rich tones, and a depth that feels nostalgic yet elevated. Every frame is intentionally composed and exposed, which often results in especially meaningful, artful photographs.


Each roll of film is developed and scanned by a local professional film lab, creating high-resolution files that can be printed up to 24" × 30". Once I receive the scans, I carefully retouch them and deliver them in your online gallery right alongside your digital images—so they all live together seamlessly.


Another bonus: you’ll often get your film scans back sooner than your full digital gallery, which means you get a sneak peek of highlights from your wedding day in that dreamy, film look while I’m still working on your full collection.


And to make it even more special, I print 4" × 6" copies of your film photos and include them in your keepsake photo box, along with a USB of your entire wedding gallery—giving you something tangible to hold onto to remember your day.
